Court orders arrest of CCB chairman over El Rufai's assets declaration Author: Aanu Adegun A Kaduna state high court on Friday, February 8, issued a warrant of arrest against the chairman of Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, for contempt. The warrant of arrest was issued by Justice Mario Mohammed after the chairman had ignored several summons by the court in a suit between Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufa’i and Today’s publishing Company Limited, and one other. A warrant form obtained directed that police personnel and authorities should arrest the CCB chairman and produce him before the court on February 13. Earlier, Today Publishing company, the publisher of The Union Newspapers had filed application requesting the court to subpoena CCB chairman to produce assets declaration of El-Rufai in court after several failed efforts it made to obtain it from the CCB. Two female members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC serving in Ebonyi state have become the latest victims of the pants for rituals practice presently ravaging the country. The two corps member, it was gathered, were reportedly forced by unidentified hoodlums to remove their clothes including their pants and hand them over to the hoodlums. One of the corps members, who was on her period also had her blood socked pants and sanitary pads taken away by the hoodlums. The incident, it was learnt, happened at Oshiegbe community, near the boundary between Ohaukwu and Ezza North local government area of Ebonyi State. Police spokesman in the State, Loveth Odah confirmed the incident. Here is a picture of the primary school pupils who were rescued last week by the police in Lagos over cult related activities. It was gathered that about 12 Primary School pupils between the ages of 6 and 16, were reportedly recruited and initiated into the dreaded cult group known as Awawa. According to police report, the pupils were recruited by a 16-year-old girl identified as Salami Rasheedat who attends Egan Senior Grammar in Igando, Lagos and were undergoing training in order to become hardened members in the future before it got exposed. The arrest which happened was disclosed by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, at the State Police Command. The police boss revealed that two men were also arrested for initiating the Primary School pupils into the cult gang. The police said it was a Guardian and Counseling teacher at the Egan Community School in Lagos who uncovered the cultists’ initiation ceremony plan. A Uniport final year student identified as Rowland Alawari Zeus, drowned while hanging out with his girlfriend yesterday. Zeus who is said to be a 400 level Animal Science student of the University of Portharcourt, Rivers State, had initially been rescued after running into trouble while swimming, however he was plunged back to the water by a speed boat from the dredging pipe he was temporarily laid to recuperate.

A lady on Facebook uploaded some pictures of an accident scene where she revealed her aunt and 2 kids were the victims of the accident. She claimed the car conveying them somersaulted five times but nothing happened to her relatives; they came out unscathed.
