According to NEMA this week, NEMA declared that there will be a National disaster on flooding in 12 states in which Rivers State happened to be among the 12 aforementioned States.

Rivers State has started to witness the flooding though flooding in Rivers State is not an alien but this time is very huge, due to the flood people are packing out of their houses, the flood has destroyed people's properties and houses.... We hereby solicit for the help of Rivers State Governor in person of Barr. Nyesom Wike to come to our rescue in Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt
